Front Desk Clerk – Be the First Face of Legacy Community Health
Located at our Deer Park, TX clinic, the Front Desk Clerk is more than just a position—it's a mission-critical role that defines the patient experience at Legacy Community Health. As the first point of contact, you play a crucial role in ushering patients into an environment of care, compassion, and excellence. By expertly managing both phone interactions and in-person encounters, you set the tone for what a patient can consistently expect from an organization that’s dedicated to community-centered healthcare. Your Role and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls with promptness and professionalism, ensuring effective routing and resolution of inquiries.
- Perform client intake and alert the essential healthcare team members upon patients’ arrival, ensuring a seamless transition to care.
- Accurately enter patient information into our advanced databases to maintain up-to-date and correct records.
- Collaborate with the volunteer coordinator in the dynamic management and integration of volunteer services.
- Adhere to organizational procedures for managing appointments and client payments with integrity and efficiency.
- Manage the clinic environment by maintaining an orderly and welcoming lobby.
- Facilitate laboratory result processing under the guidance of the Practice Manager.
- Engage in our Performance Improvement Program to continually raise the bar of service excellence.
- Champion a diverse and inclusive environment by demonstrating unwavering respect and courtesy to all patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Promote collaborative teamwork to propel our department towards its objectives, embracing the primary care medical home model.
- Participate actively in safety training, applying learned skills to enhance workplace safety and compliance with industry standards.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A commitment to fostering an environment of care through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to teamwork in a medical home model setting.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
